Editions

We have several different Editions.

The Global Edition features the world’s most outstanding solutions, human examples, knowledge and tools. This content needs to be shared and replicated for inspiration and practical action, globally. We publish in 10 languages, to make this content available all over the planet, also fit for use in education.

Continental, National and Local Editions sharpen their focus on regional solutions, people and initiatives. The more local they become, the higher their relevance in terms of joining groups and action, responding to “Who is here, what is happening around me, where can I join?” Each has a strong connection to YL Global, in order to inspire and promote solutions to the more regional level (which is often still sleeping away, ignorant of what is already possible).

LOCAL EDITIONS in particular, have powerful potentials for interconnecting all sectors in win-win benefit cooperation. Our global content and youth leader stories inspire local people, Local Editions invite them to submit, share, promote and scale their success stories, commitment and initiatives, provide them with attractive offers and materials to promote Positive Change spirit in their communities, offices, schools and public space. By equipping and inspiring people with YL’s various free and useful offers, the local changemakers gain more publicity and ways of interconnecting with local citizens, youth, organisations, educators and administration. Topic Editions focus on topics and allow more deoth, also small projects than the Global Edition. We are working on Editions on Urban Sustainability, Indigenous People, Oceans, Forests, Dry Regions, Women, Education, New Media, Mountains…

If you think about common, simplistic depictions of Africa, the Arab World or Indigenous People, you will notice how powerful, innovative and attractive the perspective of such Editions is – to changemakers in- and outside their region, to educators worldwide…

Teaching Tools are another specialty of YL. We work on delivering the greatest positive change innovation stuff in the world in a format that’s not only fit for education but super inspirational! With one-of-a-kind links, media, video, teaching tips and practical action opportunities. We have tested “Microcredit Sponsoring by school classes” and “Youth Leader Portraits” with educators, youth, children, social workers… and all are thrilled! Check them out in our Education section.
